The goal of ResearchED is to bridge the gap between research and practice in education. Researchers, teachers, and policy makers come together for a day of information-sharing and myth-busting. ResearchED events usually take place on a Saturday at a school and is a great opportunity to meet other practitioners and like-minded professionals.
The day starts out with registration, about 45 minutes before the event begins. Attendees and speakers pick up their name badges and a goodie bag. This is a great time for networking or catching your favourite speaker before the busy day begins. The event starts with a plenary opening, usually with researchED’s founder, Tom Bennett, and a representative from the hosting school.
